Urinary incontinence (UI) is a significant disorder, costing billions of dollars annually to treat, having the potential to progress to even more severe health consequences and causing serious disruption to the health, social, and emotional well-being of those who suffer from it. The incidence is growing and physical and occupational therapy clinicians have been and can continue to be in the forefront in providing effective treatments for incontinence. Good informative course! Lay out was very easy to read and understand.
Leslie W, Jul. 1, 2015

My facility is largely focusing on incontinence in the IDD (intellectually developmentally disabled) population we have. I am in the midst of providing detailed information re: why or why not certain individuals can or cannot participate in more independent toileting. Due to multiple medical interventions as well, this self study has provided me a wealth of information to add to my documentation. Thank you!
